The Seventh Ray is a band founded by Jonas ‘Shirdibhai’ Magram, who writes all the band’s material. “I thought it was time for a band with both a strong musical sensibility but also a spiritual one as well,” he says.
The Seventh Ray’s first album, Dancing In The Light, was well received by fans back in 2005. The second album, Freedom Train, was released in November 2007.
The band’s core remains constant and contains Jonas (who is called Shirdibhai by Sai Maa), guitarist and keyboardist Greg Wadsworth, internationally acclaimed musician Tim Britton, and vocalist Michelle Morgan.
Rhythm section and soloist positions have been held down by quite a number of amazing players over the years, including bassist George Foster, guitarist and vocalist Tim Duffy, hand drummers Bob Reeder and Kevin Farley, violinist Givan Tichy, and many more great players.
